So last evening I tumbled home, exhausted from a long day of nothing. I went to get my mail, and lo and behold, there was a box (note...NOT an envelope! *laugh*) waiting for me from the illustrious [livejournal.com profile] bibliovixen/[livejournal.com profile] nstynittinnymph! What wonders did it hold?

I would give you pictures, if only BRAND NEW CAMERA was working. Auuuugh! Why do I bother? Now I need to find the stupid receipt to send it back for servicing.

Ahem. I have been sent an entire FLOCK! Tiny little sheepies adorn my desk, cavorting, sleeping, and scritching their adorable little ears!

I have also been gifted with a -beautiful- glass button in shades of purple, red, and gold. I think it will find its way into a shawl pin sooner or later.

On the nibbly side of things, I have a new package of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, which I am nearly afraid to open now that the odd flavours outnumber the good ones! Ah well- bacon and rotten egg, here I come! There's also a cute little bean dispenser, and a chocolate bar from a candy maker in her area. Yum!

As she -is- a fiberholic (this whole spinning thing? ALL her fault!), let there be no doubt- there was yarn! Two squishy-soft balls of Plymouth Encore in a charming rose colour that I've spent another 5 minutes just this morning admiring and dreaming up a project for.

Last, but certainly not least, a card with a picture of a Korean door painting, penned in her own lovely hand and decorated with tiny gift boxes, balloons, and ice cream.

I can't thank you enough for thinking of me. This was such a wonderful surprise to come home to, and I appreciate your effort and thoughtfulness very, very much. Thank you!
